There are a lot of types of landscapes: coast, mountains, river, lake, desert, town, cities...
In the last lesson of Art, 5th grade students drew a city skyline. To do this activity they followed some steps:
- Fold the paper
- Draw a city skyline on one half of the paper
- Trace it with wax crayons
- Fold the paper again and press (this action transfers the city skyline on the other half of the paper)
- Colour the landscape using ready-mixed paint mixed with water. Add extra water when colouring the reflection.

WINTER TREES
Last week, 5th grade students did another activity based on lanscapes.
They had to colour a winter lanscape using ready-mixed paint mixed with water (to make it watery).
Then, they had to "draw" the trees using a straw and brown watery ready-mixed paint. They had to blow and "make" the trees. Look at the pictures:

GUSTAV KLIMT FORESTS
Two weeks ago, 5th grade students started working on a new unit: LANDSCAPES. To start the unit, they did an activity based on Gustav Klimt forests.
To do this activity they followed some steps:
- They put sticky tape on the paper to make the trees.
- They coloured the sky and the ground using different colour combinations (spring forest, summer forest, autumn forest...)
- They took out the sticky tape.
- They coloured the trees using grey, brown or ocre.
And the result is...THIS!
